It’s time to plan for World Read Aloud Day (WRAD) 2023! I can’t wait to spend the day zooming into classrooms and reading books to students. This is absolutely one of my favorite days of the year.
Here is my handy dandy 
sign-up sheet for WRAD 2023. Snag a spot, and I will contact you with further details, such as what platform you’d like to use to connect (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and what book you’d like me to read.
Here is what you can expect from me on World Read Aloud Day:
1-2 minutes: A quick intro & chat about my books
3-5 minutes: I read aloud one of my picture books (You can choose or I can choose for you. Please check out my books here.)
5-10 minutes: I answer a few questions from students about reading/writing.
1-2 minutes: I book-talk a couple of books I love (but didn’t write!) as recommendations for the students.
Please note that I’ve offered some times on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 if your schedule doesn’t allow you to book on Feb. 1 or if all my Feb. 1 spots get snagged. I look forward to reading to your students and connecting over stories!
